Newport News – Biotech and Foreign Trade Zone Updates
Wednesday, April 4th, 2012Newport has made good progress on two major tasks recently:
1) The FDA has approved ANC Biotechs plans for a bio technical facility in Newport! This decision has been long awaited. Bill Stenger will be putting plans before the Newport City Council within a few days and expects to have all funding in place by July. Read More here
2) NVDA has submitted plans for the NEK to be considered as part of a foreign trade zone which would promote companies to locate or co locate in our area. Read More here.
